Review.......

I apologize friends, I haven’t been blogging or have given you the review I promised you on the Heel Condoms but I did something crazy, something unheard of in this economy, something no one would expect from miss proper little ole me……
I quit my job of 9 ½ years at the Loan Center!
It was a totally un- me thing to do but, It was something I had to do none the less.
I have been off work for nearly 3 weeks. I am looking for a job, I promise.
But I have always wanted time off to write and now I have some time so I plan to do just that.
It feels so good to be home to do the things I always wanted to do and couldn’t.
I just need to remain focused.
What good is a dream if you don’t live it right?
So on to my review.
I have to say I was impressed by the delivery time. I ordered my set maybe on a Monday and had them delivered to me by Wednesday. I didn’t even ask for priority shipping. They came in this cute little pouch…. I am guessing to keep up with the name and become the "condom wrapper".
Now this is my disclaimer: THIS IS MY OPINION ONLY I was unimpressed with the material…although pretty and colorful, it was flimsy and didn’t hang on to my heels the way I thought they would according to the advertising on their site. The Heel Condoms did cover my flawed heels though and I can appreciate the concept and idea of where the inventor was going with this product.
Ill give them credit for the fact that they did dress my shoes up a bit…but I didn’t think they were worth the $20.00 paid for them.
Another item that bothered me was the elastic strap used to hold the sleeve to your heels. It lies directly under your foot and is sometimes visible.
I didn’t think it was flattering. I spent the entire time wearing them scared someone would notice the strap if I stepped the wrong way. I felt false. A fake pair of fancy shoes, pretending to be a real pair of fancy shoes. I hate to be false… but you live and learn.
Part of me thinks that perhaps I just picked the pair to try and should try them once again. I don’t want to discourage anyone from buying their own but I do think in the future I will take my $20.00 and apply it to something else.
